Instructions
- Bring this mixture to a boil with any dried herbs/spices you want.
- Add the fresh herbs/spices to the mason jars with the veggies being pickled.
- Once the liquid is boiling, pour into mason jars. Make sure the veggies are complete submerged, you can do this by weighing them down with a small ramekin or using a paper towel on top of the veggies to create a seal with the liquid.
- Leave the jars open on the counter to cool completely before sealing and storing in the fridge. Be sure to remove the weights or paper towels before sealing.
- They should be ready to eat within 24-48 hours and should hold for a long while, but probably wont survive long.
